Where We Go Bush

Situated on the Clyde coast just 20 minutes West of Glasgow, we are ideally based for a day trip to escape the city.

 We are fortunate to have Loch Lomond and the Trossachs on our doorstep and also have a real soft spot for the equally close but less well known Clyde coast. With its hidden glens bursting with charm and draped in rare Atlantic rainforest. 

Travelling slightly further afield but staying within a 2 hour drive radius of Glasgow, here are some of our favourite places to visit; Arrochar Alps (at the head of  Loch long), Ben Lawers Range to the East (beyond Killin), offering the potential of 7 Munro’s in a day to anyone who feels brave enough. Crainlarich Range, also home to seven munro’s including the stunning  peak of Ben More. Glencoe! With its iconic Buachaille, famous sisters, world class ridge-walks, hidden valleys and crystal clear waters. Arran. Often called Scotland in Miniature as it has a little bit of everything. A true star Scottish island, easily accessed from Glasgow via the ferry from Ardrossan.
